We are team “Kennedy’s Kreations”.  Kennedy is a beautiful seven year old, who will melt your heart with her smile. “She gives new meaning to the old saying, “Don’t judge a book, by its cover.” Diagnosed with Down Syndrome three days after being born, Kennedy is breaking down barriers, removing labels, and exceeding all expectations. Walking at 14 months, reading site words at 18 months, she is not letting society dictate what she is capable of doing.  Kennedy is also giving a whole new meaning to Trisomy 21.  Kennedy’s Kreations was created to give hope, inspire, and to show the world “Disability” does not mean we’re not able. We are setting new standards and changing rules along the way.  Get ready world, children with Down Syndrome are kreating  something magikal for everyone to see!! Down Syndrome Association Presents:  The 20th Annual Atlanta Buddy Walk Sunday, October 8, 2017, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Georgia International Plaza Downtown Atlanta
Buddy Walk® was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) as an event to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. This event is officially licensed by the National Down Syndrome Society to support groups and organizations across the country to positively influence on a local level the awareness of the Down syndrome community. Walks usually occur in October in observance of Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Nationally, Buddy Walk® is the most widely recognized public awareness program for the Down syndrome community. Locally, it is currently the largest fundraising event for the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta, with this year’s goal set at $200,000 for corporate and team sponsorships.
Kennedy’s Kreations is a 501(C)(3) non- profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.
